How to fit new LVDS cable to Screen

Hi,

I need to replace the screen Data Cable to my MacBook Pro 2012.

I have the replacement Screen and Cable but how do I fit the Clutch Cover as I do not know which way it fits to upper screen as it looks as if it is “ handed “ Flat side and Curved side?

I have looked on the various strip downs but none show the way it fits.

Any help would be appreciated.

The curved side is the inward side so when you rotate the lid up the edge clears the corner of the body. The square edge matches the lines of the case when the lid is shut.
