Gonovate Airo left earbud no audio.

My Gonovate AiroG1816 left earbud has. no audio. The control button works, and the sad part is that the left side is the master. I can’t just pop in the right and be on my way. I need the Left in my pocket to keep the right alive, and it serves as a sad reminder that it doesn’t work every time I feel it in my pocket.

Anyone had this experience? Have you been able to get the Left unit to work again? Do I just need to replace the set?

Hey David,

With Earbuds in general this seems to be a common issue. The “Master” earbud generally experiences more wear than the other due to it being touched constantly. My thoughts are the internal wires have been damaged, and you’ll have to purchase a new set. Also, looking at the specific pricing of the headphones and build quality, I would say it’s not worth opening the headphones to try and fix it. It’s most likely a short that occurred.

Sorry I can’t give better news, we process through several different companies headphone units daily and notice this issue a lot and have found that the repairs take a long time(3+ hours) or they are un-repairable.
