Apple Watch 3 GPS 38mm screen/glass replacement

Hi guys,

So I was working the other day and accidentally smacked my wrist on something that caused my AW3’s screen to crack =(

Initially it was a small crack on the edge which I didn’t mind too much because touch was still working however I guess the crack got larger and now only my number 2 button for the pin code works. The rest of the touch is dead.

My question is:

1) Is it possible to change ONLY the top layer of the glass? If so, is there a repair guide on how to do this?

2) Can I buy ANY 38mm GPS Apple Watch on Ebay that is locked and just use the screen from that used watch? People are selling the NEW generic replacement screens for $150~ so I figured if I could get a used icloud/password locked 3 series watch I can just remove the screen from it and transfer it to my watch? Is there anything I would have to be worried about if I went this route?

Please help! Im hoping to get this fixed ASAP.
