My check engine light is on and my car will turn over but will not sta

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry and check engine light is on and andxwhrn I turn the key it will turn over and try to crank but nothing happens what do you think is the problem

Vicki Romager  you said try to crank. Please clarify if it does turn over but does not start or does not turn over. If it is a not, check your battery and starter. If it does it could be a fuel, spark or air issue. Always check first that it has spark and that it gets fuel. Let us know what engine size this is and if you have an automatic or standard and if you have had any issues with it before.
