How to replace Bluetooth antenna?
Can anyone tell me how to replace the Bluetooth antenna on a 15” 2012 Macbook Pro A1286? It is part # 056-3517 REV B.
I accidentally severed the wire when taking out the optical drive, and now I’m unable to use Bluetooth.
I have found the part online, but I have combed the internet on how to remove the old unit and put in the new one. Nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to clarify, it is the actual Bluetooth antenna, that sits just under the opening to the DVD drive, next to the "right" speaker.
The part # is definitely 056-3517 REV B. I am looking right at it, and reading the part #. When I google it, it says it is for 2011, But, I’m assuming they just used it in the 2012 as well. In all the teardown guides and videos, I see it just left attached. It must be able to be uninstalled and reinstalled, though. When looking at the open back of the MacBook, it is in the top lefthand corner.
It may possibly be glued in?
