3DS XL charging light turns on for a few seconds, then turns off
I have a 3DS XL that was given to me by a friend. For months it was working until one day I decided to turn it on, and it blacked out after a second. I thought maybe it was the battery, so I decided to charge. I left it for hours, came back, and it didn’t turn on again. The charging light would light up, then turn off after a few seconds. I thought maybe my battery was bad, so I bought a new one, and it still didn’t work. Is there any way I can fix it?

have you tried using a different charger. If not, it could be the power supply because maybe it doesn't even recognize that there is a battery. If that is the case you could have a bad power supply, and you may have to solder on a new one but I am just taking a guess.

and it could also be bad battery pins on the board.

You can try cleaning the pins with alcohol and see if that helps.
