From past two days not able to switch on ipad. Only can see apple logo . Apple customer service is telling me I have to replace my motherboard and that will cost me half the price of the iPad . Please help . I'm very desperate .

Try to open your iPad in DFU/Recovery mode and manage a new software installation from your iTunes software. It should go with it easily and your device should work properly.
However, error 400X, 200X or 500X could appear. Try to manage this process several times, but be aware that if some of those “thousand” errors appear the cheep-ROM-modules used by Apple are dead. Say goodbye to your motherboard.
