iPhone 6 wont turn on after Battery Replacement. Maybe Flex cable?

Hi,

i already changed a lot of Batterys and Displays and some other parts on iPhones.

Now i changed the Battery and the WiFi +GPS on an iPhone 6. After all, it wont Turn on or so anything. I replaced the Battery again but it didnt worked out. So i decided to open up everything again and saw that the Power Flex Cable is a little bit damaged.

Im about to swap it but im not sure if its only this problem. The Phone wont do anything when its plugged on my PC, shouldnt it do at least this even with an Broken Flex Cable?

I tried Hard reset and everything else already.

Thank you in advance!

Hey TheStick, that definitely can be an issue although that part can be replaced. Flex cables are very easily damaged by just a slip of a tool. You should still be able to get your device to power on with just plugging it into a power source. If that doesn’t work I would check out the battery connector to see if that has been damaged as well.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask :)

Hi Corey, thank you for your helpful answer!

So i replaced the broken flex cable and put anything back together but the iPhone still wont do anything. My Computer wont recognize it, im not sure if its loading, it wont show or do anything.

The battery connector on the Logic Board looks very good so i dont know what else could be broken.

Do you have any idea?

While replacing the battery (it was disconnected) the battery got damaged by my plastic tool and it show a very little bit of smoke but i dont think that this was able to do any other damage.

Would it be possible to add more images of the battery and the battery connector on the logic board? As of now I have no clue what might be wrong other than the battery connector having damage and it doesn't get power.

Have u checked the connector for the charging flex is securely in and was the phone charging correctly prior to this??? U may have a non charging phone and or a dead/flat battery... u can get batteries that are so flat they wont even show the charging symbol

U may have also damaged the screen at this point if u have a good battery that u know has charge in it try that :)
