How do you fix ghost touching without buying new screen

I dropped my iPad. I know what ghost touching is and I know how to fix it. But to fix it you need a new screen which is about 180$. I was wondering if there is another way to fix ghost touching without buying anything or taking the iPad apart.

Thank You

There's no way around this other than opening up the iPad and replacing the screen.

While the solution will likely involve replacing the screen, there is a small chance that the frame is bent and is putting pressure on the screen causing the issue. If you get really lucky, if the frame is bent, you might be able to fix the problem by bending the frame back to where it’s suppose to be.

Thank you, I hope that is the case. But how do you bend it. I’m scared I’ll make it worse

My iPad was already cracked but it started happening when I dropped it. So I don’t think it’s the screens fault because it just started doing it. Do you bend it with a tool? Please reply in detail instructions please

Thank you

Sorry for the delayed response. They make tools to bend the frames back but you can use the edge of a table as well. Just be careful about how much you bend the frame.
