Why is my MacBook Pro 2013 late 15" randomly turning off

Hello,

I have MacBook Pro 2013 late 15” with 16 GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB SSD and GT750m GPU. I have macOS & Windows (BootCamp) on the system.

Lately, it started to randomly shutdown while on battery while running macOS. I made clean install but same problem is occurring. I think it is something with cooling on macOS side, because in BootCamp I can play games on battery or plugged in and it never shuts down.

I did reset the SMC and same thing happening in macOS side. Seems like don’t having charger plugged in cause fans on macOS speed slower or do other things.

I installed Mac fan control and turn all fans on maximum. It still shouted down. Any advice here? Mac is my main machine and if I can’t take it somewhere where there is no power outlet making it useless.

Lets gather some deeper diagnostics here. Install CoconutBattery as well as TG Pro. Both will allow you to see deeper into your system. Take a snapshot of the main window of both and past them here for us to see Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag.

You do want to remove the MacFanControl app as you don't want it to conflict and confuse what we are looking at here.

added img that you asked. I'm running external 2k 27 inch display, and have hdd, sound card, and keyboard plugged in. plus mouse. and Mac is charging

What do you mean by an HDD Sound card? You have an external HDD drive and as well as a USB DAC unit? Or do you mean you just have an HD Sound card?

Also are you running the system with the display lid closed or open?

opened, I have external hdd(wd passport ultra) and sandblaster 5.1 omni sound card, and keyboard, but this doesn't matter cause it turns off without all this. I thought it matter because temps might be a little higher with all those peripherals.

What did the crash report tell you? Error -128 is very generic, how about posting it here so we can review it.

I think you only put it in your tray as I don't see a link to it here. Create a new answer and then follow this guide Adding images to an existing answer
