Why is my battery draining to quickly?

Had to replace the screen on my iPhone 6S and purchased a replacement from here. Now if I use any application that requires connecting to the internet, my battery drains in minutes. It charges fine and using the phone or any application that doesn’t require the internet will last most of the day, but any function that requires an internet connection drains the battery in minutes. Playing Candy Crush starting with a full charge last about 15 minutes!

Seems like your battery needs to be replaced. Check your battery health by going ti Settings/Battery/Battery health.

I agree with Scott P. Have you made sure the battery is to its full functioning capacity??? To this go to settings on your phone and click on “battery” once there click on “battery health” your battery should read like this (look at the picture) if it says anything else you more than likely bought a faulty battery and may need a new one. Hope this helps.

First, thanks for responding my question so quickly . My screen currently reads ‘Maximum Capacity” at 80% but, that leads me to still ask the original question. Before I broke my screen and had it repaired, my battery capacity was at 89% and the phone lasted at least 8 hours no matter what application I used. Logically I understand that at 80% the battery will hold a smaller charge and thus seem to lose power quicker because there is less power to be had, but if it lasted 6 to 8 hours at 89%, I don’t understand why it only last 15 minutes at 80%. It just doesn’t seem right but thank you for the information and I’ll get the battery checked.
