Hi, while changing my screen I tore the home button cable at the base to where it loops over. Is this a fixable tear? If so, how or by who? Hopefully, the image works. Thank you in advance!
Home button doesn’t work and I’m stuck on the Press home to upgrade screen.

An experienced micro-solderer can fix that for you. Might want to try a few repair shops that do micro-soldering to fix that.

Are you able to access you'r settings?

Cannot get to settings to turn on assistive touch or voice control. Even bought an external home button, which doesn’t work. iTunes doesn’t recognize the phone’s plugged in so no dfu. A program called 3u doesn’t recognize the phone either. Tried inserting different sim card, which changed nothing. I think I’ve tried literally every suggestion in other threads to get past this screen to no avail.
