no display on iPhone 6

hey guys, i replaced screen/digitizer on iphone 6. all good. i carefully put it into a REALLY tight cover. all ok. few days later i had it out to show that cover. that night was in a hurry and kind of mashed it into that cover. never lit up again. it had a very dim light, no display, just very dim. i ordered another screen/digitizer but still the same. this cover is very good, just really dam tight getting it in. what could i have done to disconnect this display.?

Unless the cover is so tight it can bend the iPhone housing, it might be just a coincidence too. When lifting the connectors for replacement it may happen to damage components surrounding them. Issue might be related to the backlight circuit as well as a damage to your new screen. If you still have around the old one I’d try the replacement to check first if it’s a screen damage. If it’s not a screen damage it would probably be on the board itself and would require microsoldering skills.
