3.0 diesel to SBC engine swap

  • I'm probably going to get some grief over this, but I'm swapping the 3.0 diesel in an 81 300D for a 350. I'd like to have a clean engine bay (no exposed wires and such). I'm down to 3 pieces that I'm unsure of. 1: the resistor pack on the passenger firewall 2: a small electrical box at the uppermost drivers wheel well and 3: a smaller electrical box on the drivers wheel well just below the cruise control canister. Do these control body electrical or engine electrical?

Try searching all the control blocks/electrical boxes on google! Should tell you what is it and what is its mission in your car! If you can’t find anything by the box numbers than just follow the wires and see where they are going from the box and it should give you an idea of what is it for.
