Can I reduce or eliminate the AMOLED burn?

I just got a S6 Active I'm done with the SIM unlock on and it's ready to go :-). While the phone works and I have it setup I have yet another screen burn example of these phones :(. It doesn't bother me because it's typical but I'd like to get rid of it.

I know it's like a plasma TV where it's generally there for life but is there a way to get rid of it on this phone? It's not as severe as some I've seen but it's there and I am hoping it can be reduced or eliminated even though it's mild on this one and I won the AMOLED burn lottery.

This is how bad it is on this Active:

I'll see if it works. Hopefully I can at least reduce some of it.

It's rarely something you can fix but if I can fix it that's even better but I'm not holding my breath. That said if I can't fix it I have a phone with the least amount of burn-in I've personally seen. eBay phones are the worst of the bunch most of the time.

That's what I figured from seeing past posts - I'm stuck without a new display. A replacement isn't going to happen because I doubt I'm going to do any better and it'll probably be worse. eBay phones and displays are some of the worst you can find (if not on par with the retail demo ones without a baseband or IMEI). Seems to hide okay on the background I chose if I can't reduce it.

I'm using OLED tools to do the job as that's what I found in @ajcooke01v2's referenced post to do it - that app is gone or rebranded. Hopefully it at least *helps*. That said I'm not expecting a full cleanup by any stretch so my expectations are realistic. The phone apparently had glitches so it may have display IC issues as well - I need to run it for a little bit to see but I have a feeling it was a software problem and it's previous owner (who I know) didn't want to try and fix it.

Out of any AMOLED phone I've seen (2x S6 Active, Edge, Edge+ and 2x S3's) I've only ever found a perfect screen on the S3's we got back when AT&T still did traditional contracts because they were horrid in terms of battery... I have one and it's neglected because of how bad it is. You can't avoid it on a phone that's over 1 year old it seems.

I really couldn't clear it up but the display glitched out again. I need a new one either way.
