This is UAT tuner, it is not an antenna itself, but it tunes the upper antenna to match various cellular, WiFi/BT , GPS and NFC bands.

@tomchai Will my iPhone work fine without this tuner? Like will BT, WiFi work without this tuners?

Define "work fine". If you mean work like new, then no, if you mean being able to turn it on and being able to receive some signals, then maybe somewhat yes.

I was looking for some infos about the Uart IC on the iphone 6s just a few days ago..I understood it had to do with Gps but not much more in detail. Would it be able to potentially influence the compass too ?

@tomchai The problem is that I can not find a good replacement on the internet...

Don't trust any name on the seller page, they had no clue what they are selling and just puts on a made-up name like any other sellers.

@tomchai - The function of the part is to connect the logic board to the actual antenna bars molded into the outer case. The outer rim (Cellular/WiFi and the plate Bluetooth. The function of the components on it is to prevent multi-pathing between the two antennas (reflection & load).

I do believe there is only two versions of the part NA/SA/Europe and Russia/China as the bands used are different ranges.

I do agree the name is a bit misleading... Apple often shorten the names or picks ones that is not technically correct. I have not seen this part listed as UAT tuner only WiFi Antenna flex cable.

Probably Qualcomm and Intel variant had different RF subsystem altogether, Qualcomm may even have submodels tuning to some specific CDMA networks. However the tuner part may be the same. As long as the APN printed on the flex is the same, they are very likely to be interchangeable.

I agree with Tom Chai. On the schematic the area of the board that corrosponds to this is referred to as TUNFX_RF and looks like the component is called the UAT Tuner Flex.

All I can find under UAT Tuner is this UAT Tuner connector

Yeah i am having not luck finding it under the schematic name. I think part of the issue is what parts are advertised as vs what they are refered to in the schematic.
