Messed up with the jailbreak and now am stuck on the activation menu..

Alright, this may sound a bit convoluted but I really appreciate an input on the matter, so bear with me a bit.

I have this 5C jailbroken at 9.2. The other day I was trying to move all the apps and cydia tweaks I have from an iphone 5 to this one without having to go through the tedious process of downloading every single one. I got appsync on the 5c and through 3uTools looked around to see if I could find the folder containing all the apps so I could do some copy pasta from one phone to another. I ended up copying the files from the Applications (Jailbreak) folder from the 5 phone to this 5C. I respringed the phone but did not see any difference, so I ended up just putting the old files which I had backed up prior to moving the ones from the 5.

Phone was intact after doing this, but after turning it off and on I could not longer access a most of the apps on it. Settings, Messages, Safari, Cydia, it was all proper &&^&@@. I could also no longer access root after doing this and am now even wondering if I actually moved all the original files back in place. I couldn’t think of a better way to get around this besides resetting the phone entirely. Not being able to access Settings, I did it through Find My iPhone but eventually became stuck on the apple logo. Interesting thing is, the phone shows up on 3utools and I managed to use the activate option on it. Now I can see the ‘‘Hello’’ start menu and the status bar but am unable to slide forward. Holding the power off button also gives no response.

Put simply, the phone has gone full pizdec. I am thinking now I ought to get the latest firmware and flash it through 3uTools, however I really wish I could avoid updating the phone as it would ruin the purpose I even got it for, and will this even be a guaranteed fix?

There may be some minor details I did not include here. Will be glad to answer any necessary questions.

Edit:

It occurred to me now iFixit is more of a hardware troubleshooting platform. I didn’t know where else to ask for some help, I hope this isn’t out of place?

Have you trying holding power + home button for about 10-15 seconds to force the phone to shut off and turn on? Hopefully this is just enough to get the phone’s touch screen working.

Yes. Upon turning on once more, I am faced with the apple logo again. Interestingly, it will behave as if the phone is normally at a lock screen, playing the lock sound and all when pressing the power button and you can even turn on a voice feature. Have also discovered that taking a screenshot will also bring back the Hello menu.
