Ideas of how to remove or cover up these scuffs?

Guess what? I am thinking of buying yet another older Mac.

However, I try not to pay very much for these older Macs so I end up getting either broken systems to fix or Macs that are “bottom of the barrel” cosmetically.

I found a 2006 Mac Pro on eBay for 150$ that is fully working but cosmetically damaged.

Before buying this Mac I have a question…

How can I remove or cover up these scuffs so this Mac can actually look decent?

Update (11/05/2018)

Thank you both! I’ll try the sandpaper and epoxy first and then I’ll move onto spray paint if the epoxy and sandpaper is a no-go.

I have had good luck with this paint, but test on bottom to see if it works on yours:

Krylon KSCS032 Short Cuts Aerosol Spray Paint, 3-Ounce, Chrome

I’ve used Black contact paper. I would use some sandpaper to remove any high points and some epoxy filler for the deep gouges. Use some cleaner to get the dirt and oil off beforehand.

If you don't mind severely altering the look of your macpro. There are vinyl film products that other PC modders use to alter the appearance of their case plastics/hardware. Should hide such things nicely (but not fix it for resale).
