iPhone 6 is not charging.

Hello, I got an iPhone 6 which is working perfectly except 1 thing. It's not loading/charging the battery. The weird thing is everything looks and works fine. You can connect it via USB, it's getting recognized. It's even showing this little flash next to the little battery display when the cable is plugged in. And the "USB gong" also appears. But it's only holding the current percentage of power.

If anyone has some ideas what to do now I would appreciate so much, thank you.

it's not SPAM.

If you're only contribution is to supply external links to your website or Youtube channel, then by definition it is SPAM. The purpose of this forum is to help people. Linking your personal microsoldering videos without any context or diagnostic when the problem could be modular in nature seems like more of way to drive clicks. We already have enough of one contributor who does this extensively.

I have no issues with your video nor am I questioning your skills. If you want to actively help people by suggesting answers based on a diagnostic (look at @benjamen50 answer above as a classic example), then by all means. If you're only goal is to pump your Youtube channel, then that is SPAM.

What is USB gong?

If the low battery symbol is flashing (when the phone is not turned on), that mean the battery voltage is very low and needs to be charged more.

So you are saying that the power from the charging cable is not going to the battery as the percentage just keeps dropping / doesn't charge up right?

I just fixed a iPhone 5s with the exact same symptoms. I ended up having to replace the charging port (It's a ribbon cable assembly that also comes with the bottom microphone and antenna cable on it.)

Better to try replacing the charging dock first, then if that doesn't work I suggest trying another battery.

The last resort is to get the U2 tristar charging IC replaced professionally by someone that does board level iPhone repairs.

Sorry Sir, I forgot to tell these informaiton. I have another USB flex cable from another iPhone 6 and I know the charging port was/is ok. I just pressed it on the connector and pushed in the lightning cable. With gong I meant the sound coming up when pressing in the lightning cable. And only if the cable is disconnected the battery is used and gets weak and weaker. Currently at 14%. When lightning is connected it stays where it is. I had it laying here for 4 hours connected and it was not loosing any %

Edit : I just bought 5 batteries with 5 different APN's but as I heard there won't be a difference between battery APN's for the iPhone 6. Is this correct? Bought these in hope to fix the problem already, but I guess this won't be a success but I will update ASAP

There won't be a difference to the point where it would affect how the battery would work. As long as it supports iPhone 6 they will all be compatible with it.

look at Ben tearing it up!

Exactly what I would recommend. Start with the battery, might throw a new dock connector on as long as I'm in there, then go to board level stuff. To me...this really sounds like just a bad battery but there isn't a good way to be sure besides testing a new battery and throwing a meter on it.

very funny guys it was really the battery :) I didn't think that. I thought it would be the chip but thanks so far
