Is there a difference between the LCD cable MBA 13" and the 11"

I am trying to rule out reasons why I’m having display problems (Backlight flickers after water damage) on a 13” MBA and in order to do that I have the possibility to use my 11” MBA of the same year. Now the only question I have is… Is the LCD connector of the 11” and 13” identical? This way I can temporarily connect the 11” on the 13” MBA.

I have no idea if the connectors differ but frankly I would just buy the proper part.

it's pointless to buy the proper part, if you can't tell yet where the problem lies.

Bad idea. Hook it up to an external monitor instead. According to what TV you have, if it is a HDMI, just get a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter like this one:

USB 3.1 Type-C to HDMI Adapter

I definitely expected it to be a bad idea, I just wanted confirmation just in case.

Now, as stated in my other post, hooking it up with an external screen gives zero issues. So my guess would be that either the connector on the logic board got screwed (short circuit) or the LCD is dead.. There's a video that shows the screen's weird behaviour.
