Sounds like your AC compressor could have gone out, does your vehicle still run heat? If so it is your compressor, usually these repairs run from around $200-$300 depending on the shop's labor charge. If your heat does not work, it could be the blower.

Often times you get a refrigerant leak in either the hose or pipes which needs to be fixed before recharging the system. You don't want to run the AC without the refrigerant as you can damage it.
