The power button doesn't work

The power button on my Nintendo Switch is not working. The Switch itself works fine, it is just the power button that does not work. I can press the controller home button to turn it on, or connect it to power to turn it on. I did open the Switch to fix something before and it seems I may have removed something. Where does the power button cable go to?
