Wireless Card Bracket Screw Replaced with Rivet?!
Hey everybody, I just got my new 2011 Thunderbolt 15" Unibody Macbook, and immediately opened it up to install an Optibay. I just pulled this out of the previous model MacBook I had (the 2010). SURPRISE. The wireless bracket that must be removed to access the optical drive is secured with... 1 screw.. right... 2 screws.. right, and then, as I go to remove the third screw (in the upper R "wing" portion of the bracket), I notice it is very, very stripped. Wait. It is not a screw. It is a RIVET. Not a Torx, not something fancy, a weird rivet-looking thing that is impervious to every tool I own. Apart from cutting the bracket in half, how do I get to the last screw to pull out the optical drive? W - T - F Apple.
HELP!!!
