I have followed this DIY guide successfully :

After the replacement, the glitches are still there :-/

Have you checked to see if it still happens if you connect it to an external monitor?

Sorry for this missing information.

Yes : the display is correct on an external monitor. I suspect that the LCD display have internal lesion ?

This will sound daft, but, try pressing different areas of the screen. I've had thing like this in the past, for some reason this fixed the problem

Rus, I have pressed different areas of the screen, as you suggested me. It infortunately did not change anything : not worse, not better..

Try pressing around the edges where the bars are. You may need to take the cover glass off to effect anything here.

Well I’ve got some bad news ;-{

You have a bad display, the system got hit or something heavy sat on it that put enough stress on to the screen to damage the metal oxide traces on the LCD’s glass panel. The micro crack has severed the lines as the breaks are so close every so often they re-connect!

Some people have managed to wedge some paper card stock behind the display cover glass MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Late 2008 and Early 2009 Front Display Glass Replacement to force the display to bend just enough to cause the connections to be stable. Otherwise you’ll need a new display. Sorry ;-{

The image on an external display will be fine if you want to use your system that way.

Hi @danj,

Indeed, you were right : The LCD itself was damaged.

So : as I was not able to find only the LCD display on the aftermarket, I have bought a used display assembly (the metal screen case containing the LCD panel + the webcam + the glossy front, all integrated).

Then, I went through the following tutorial until step 13, and the result is : It works like a charm. The new screen is finally displaying everything correctly :)
