Upgrading internal hard drive

Hello, I have an iMac18,3. I would like to replace the internal APPLE HDD ST2000DM001 with a Seagate BarraCuda ST4000DM004. Will the replacement drive work with my iMac ? Also, do I need the Apple cable part #922-9538 ?

If you want to change your hardrive I would recommend that you call apple for support as they will be able to tell you the information that you want
