Kenmore front loading automatic washer just died mid cycle, no power

Our washer is less then 2 years old, model # 796.4139* I went to check the towels in the washer to see if the cycle was done to put them in the dryer. The washer was just dead, mid cycle still had water in it. No lights will turn on the display panel, no noise just dead. It's plugged in, checked the fuse box for the house and they are all on . Repair guy can't come for a week and I have a 7 month old I need my washer !!! Pleaseeeee help!

Gekozen oplossing

Cause 1

Line Fuse

The line fuse blows if the washer circuits are overloaded. If the line fuse blows, the washer won’t start. To determine if the line fuse is at fault, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the fuse does not have continuity, replace it. In addition, you should investigate and resolve the problem that caused the fuse to blow. Check for shorted out components such as the wires, motor, or drain pump. If you don’t resolve the underlying issue, the new fuse will blow too.
