I replaced my battery in February. Since then my screen won’t lay flat and is popping out on the left side. It looks like the battery has swelled some. The phone will glitch when I turn on my data or WiFi. If the battery power is below 90% and then will drain in less than 10 minutes if it isn’t plugged in. The last version upgrade was 11.0.2
Please Help!!

It definitely seems like a dud battery. I would replace it again. Is the battery the reason the phone screen won't sit straight? Is there something blocking the parts on the housing where the screen clips in? Are the pentalobe screws screwed in fully? (I had a phone once which would only screw together when you pushed down really hard on the screen). However, I would not suggest pushing down on the screen to screw it together if the battery is swollen. Replace it, and then reply back if it fixes the problem.

Today before I posted this, I went back into the phone and tightened all the crews just to make sure. I also tried to see if it’s the brackets too but it wasn’t. If I push in the left side first it goes together easily, but when I push in the right side it pops the left side out and pushes the screen out of its housing. I will go ahead and replace the battery, then respond again as you suggested. Thanks!
Sooo, I have been waiting 5 days to write this response to be sure the new battery is working properly. So far so good. I no longer have what I call screen glitches/shutdowns, speedy battery life drainage, or my screen popping out of its case. The battery I pulled out was indeed puffed up causing issues to my screen. Thank you Einstein for your knowledgeable input, it was a much needed answer to my worries. I now have a fully functioning phone!
