Text on screen is black on portion of screen.
My screen gives a yellow text on a black background. I t cover some of the icons.How do I get rid of this text?

That means the phone is currently in factory mode.
Chances are the EFS partition got corrupted on your phone meaning your sim card will not work on that phone unless the EFS partition is repaired.
You would need to take the phone to someone that has a programming box like Z3X or someone can get it done for you remotely IIRC.
