The first thing I'd suggest checking is the battery, especially if it's 5+ years old. After ~5 years non AGM batteries tend to stop holding a reliable charge. They usually fail in such a way they continue working but the CCA capacity is insufficient for a car to use it. To test the battery, charge it to 12-13V with an external charger to ensure the results are accurate. Once that's done use a battery tester (Same tester but ships with Amazon Prime) to check if the problem is related to a weak battery.

If your battery is healthy, the next likely suspect is the alternator. Test this and see if it's working correctly. This can be done with a multimeter. If you aren't sure how, a tutorial to do it can be found here.

sharonsepeda there are a bunch of possibilities. Remember that you need a few things for your engine to start. You said it turns so let us know if it turns normally as it should or slow to start. After that check for spark. If it has spark, you need to check to see if you have fuel. If you have all that you may have a sensor that has failed ie. crankshaft position sensor etc. So to even attempt to narrow it down, let us know what engine model this is and what you have tried thus far to fix it.
