Left turn signal will not blink when I press the break paddle.

Hi , my left blinker will not blink if the break paddle is pressed, it will sometime hesitate to blink and will blink once or twice. The right side seems fine, flasher relay replaced, the emergency switch is new. Again the right side is not affected at all. The left blinker will resume normal operation , when break paddle is not pressed. However what I noticed is a little green light is on where the arrow of the left blinker will blink on the instrument cluster if the break paddle is pressed , but the blinker switch not engaged to blink . Please help, I have no idea what is causing this..

@darkr123 this sounds like your brake light is creating a short circuit and prevents your blinker to coming on. First thing to check is the bulb. Make sure that you have the correct bulb in it. You did not give us a year or prope model so we cannot tell you which bulb you need. The other thing you want to check is the wiring to the light as well as the bulb socket itself. Make sure that there is no corrosion as well as shaved wires etc.
