1 No ring sound after changing charge port.
I recently changed a charge port to fix a issue with microphone.
However when I test ring the phone there is no sound. If I go into Sound settings, I can adjust the ringer volume up and down and sound does come out the loud speaker.
I have taken the phone apart numerous times and the ringer does occasionally work but when I close up again it generally stops working.
I have replaced the charge port 3 times ( same supplier though ) and I have replace the speaker. Occasionally it works but as soon as I close it stops working.
Could the mute button on the side somehow be turning on when I close the screen ??

Any possibility it could be battery related in some way? Battery does seem fine but that is just general appearance and assumption.

Finally got it working although not entirely sure how. I tried fitting and OEM screen in place of original aftermarket and everything worked. Convinced this was the solution I put the original screen back as I wanted the get go ahead from customer before replacing screen and now everything works with original cheap screen.
I got no idea what just happen but will not open that %#*@ phone again LOL.

It's a weird grounding issue that I and other users on here havent figured out what's causing yet.
Currently I assume it's due to the quality of the replacement charging port.
