Hi,
What is the make and model number of the phone?
Find out the IMEI number of the phone (dial *#06#) then go online to find out how to check if the phone has been blocked (reported lost or stolen) by using the IMEI number.
If it is not blocked try swapping the SIM card in your phone with a SIM card from a known working, network compatible phone to see if your card works in the other phone and if the other card works in your phone.
