Digitzer replacement glass lifts up in lower left corner

I just replaced the digitizer glass on an iPad 4 Wi-Fi last weekend, using the kit sold here on iFixIt. I'm always impressed by the quality of the parts and tools that come in the kits. It took a long, grueling 4 hours to finish it up, due to the thousands of broken glass shards on the old panel, but I finally got it done, and it works great!

The problem I'm having is the bottom portion of the left side of the glass won't sit all the way flush with the new plastic bezel. I thought I didn't have the bezel aligned properly at first, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Could it be the new Home button cable that came with the glass, getting caught on something, or maybe not bending properly and placing outward pressure on the glass from the inside?

I'm afraid that if I try to lift this new glass to inspect the cable, I'll end up screwing up the adhesive strips that came on the glass, or even breaking the glass again. I did use GooGone and then Iso alcohol around the aluminum frame edges to remove as much old adhesive as I could before putting everything in place, so that shouldn't be the problem.

So a few things can cause this. The flex cable, bad adhesive, or old adhesive balled up under the digi.

Most of the time its the flex that needs to be pushed down into the housing.

Any tips for getting it open to check the cable? Do I have to take the entire glass off again and reapply adhesive? This is the adhesive that came pre-applied in the iFixIt kit, hopefully the quality is decent.

Also there's a visible "bump" in that area if viewed from the edge, and seemingly no amount of pressure from my fingers can push that bump down.

Sorry for the late comment, yes you have to take the glass off. You can get double sided adhesive from amazon and use a Exacto-knife to cut it. When you pull up the glass you need to tuck the flex cables into the frame but first check for any of the other mentioned problems before laying the glass back on.
