Water damage indicators - location?

Hello everybody

I had a little hick up with the water and my Macbook pro. To make a long story short I inserted the MBP into sleeve in my backpack where my water bottle spilled. I realized that about 4-5 min and immediately took it out, however some water got on it (but not a lot, it was a little moist on the outside and there was a little water between the screen and the body, but it did not reach the keyboard).

Now everything works fine but there comes my questions.

Where are the LSI on the MBP mid 2010? I am just wondering if my 2.5 years of warranty left went to %$&@.

Thanks

They changed it slightly. It's now been corrected. Additionally:

Thanks

After a little digging I also found this:

Now one more is there an easy way to get to them without de-gutting the whole machine?

The link you gave is the one I listed above. The whole purpose of the LSI is to tell if it's gotten wet. Apple did not intend for them to be replaced. Doing so and then turning it in for warranty work would constitute fraud.

I did not say that I want to exchange/destroy them to fraud. I just want to know that if something breaks should I bother going to apple or just buy new machine
