hi there i have a samsung galay s5 for data recovery the customer said that the phone just died itself without any damage to it ,my progress with the phone: i tried to boot it up with dc power supply as soon as i press the power button it goesup to 0.15 amp and stays there forever so i changed power ic no luck its the same and when i put freeze spray on it the amp cosuming comes down to 0.07 which is not helping me to find a short ,actully two times when i put the spray on i did boot up up for like 10 second showed samsung logo but when the freez goes away it would turn off again and the same situation is this a short or am i dealing with a data lines problem?

can anyone help me please?

Have you checked if it could be the display connector?

Also if I read this correctly, you try to boot a phone without the battery?

Alternatively, try using a different battery, charger, adapter or even replace some internal components if you can
