Display issue for iPhone 6

I tried to change my iPhone 7 battery. I open the phone and disconnects display from the motherboard. Changed the battery and when I put the screen back the screen came up with black and white stripes on it. But when I put new display it works fine. It happened with iPhone 6 also. Anybody know why it’s happening? I need your kind help.

The screen cables probably aren't connected correctly. Disconnect the battery and display cables, then reconnect them, making sure they're firmly clicked into place.
