I am trying to find out if I can fix my tv my sound is on I can change channels buy my screen stays black not show on screen my light on bottom on tv when I use remote it will blink 2 or 3 times is there anything I can do? @judyjune1940 Samsung does not have a good troubleshooting blink code. 2-3 blinks is commonly related to a bad power supply. In your case it is possible that this is a backlight issue related to the power supply. Also, Samsung has had a run of bad capacitors. For that we would need to see your boards. Unplug your set and remove the back cover. Check each board by looking for obvious damaged components like bad capacitors. Post some images of your boards with your question so we can see what you see. For that use this guide Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag It is possible that this is also a T-con board issue but we need to know your TV's exact model. You'll most likely will need a multimeter to check things out (or replace the boards once we know what is going on with it) and doing it by yourself will be a lot cheaper than a repair shop.
