iPhone 7 plus crashes continually and can't restore/update

Hi guys. I just recently made the switch from android to Apple. My iPhone 7 plus has only suffered one accidental drop throughout its use. It started to crash and remain stuck in a bootloop accompanied by strange coloured bars/glitches that show up on my screen when the phone tries to boot. I actually got the phone to boot up to the lockscreen the other day but when I was about to type in my password - the phone shut off. It then proceeded to once again present with those random flashes of colour (as in the pictures).

Convinced it was a software issue I attempted to update and restore it. I placed the phone in DFU mode whilst connected to iTunes and the phone managed to get past "Extracting Software" and "Waiting for iPhone" but started to glitch/flash random colours halfway through"verifying update".

I'm baffled and I'm currently in a very remote location, far removed from any Apple repair stores. Please help

Gekozen oplossing

The iPhone 7 series of devices suffers from a similar design flaw that the iPhone 6 Plus had; weak traces on the pcb which crack and break under crucial IC's. On the iPhone 6 Plus, it was known as Touch Disease. On the iPhone 7 series, the weak traces are underneath the Audio IC.

If you are curious about the technical nature of these failures, you can listen to this video from Jessa and this one from Jason at STS, they go into a lot of detail regarding this issue. It could be BB or Audio but the info in the video should help you figure out which one.

This type of failure requires a micro-soldering repair and is not DIY.

Hi Minho. Thanks for your response. I took a look at those videos but they don't seem to address the strange coloured bars/glitches that show up on my screen when the phone tries to boot. I actually got the phone to boot yesterday but when I was about to type in my password - the phone shut off. It then proceeded to show those random flashes of colour during reboot (as in the pictures). As far as I know the touch screen worked fine, it's just the random shutting off and the strange coloured glitches/freezes when trying to update that I can't explain.

Sorry, I realize that I left this part out in my above explanation.
