MacBook not turning, still charges: logic board or keyboard problem?

I had a minor spill of soup onto my laptop two days ago, which I cleaned off with isopropyl alcohol.

A couple hours later, my laptop was still turning on but was booting in safe mode, with all the keys on caps lock, making me unable to log on.

The next day, my laptop just wouldn't turn on at all.

I'm wondering if this is an issue with the logic board or the keyboard. The spill was on the right hand side of my laptop, and it still charges, so I hope it is the latter.

Remove the logic board and check it for liquid damage. Clean with 99% isopropyl if there is any corrosion, but take pictures of the affected areas beforehand.

If there is no damage, reassemble and connect everything except the keyboard. Plug the charger in, and it should boot (this model will boot when plugged in if the battery is reconnected or disconnected). If it works, plug the keyboard in (after disconnecting battery), then plug charger in. You can then check the power button whilst it is on
