A 320 GB IDE or ATA is the largest I know of: http://eshop.macsales.com/Search/Search....|0&N=6885

So for the g4 titanium (1 ghz/867MHz) I can UG to 320 GB without functioning problems? I was reading online and even called fixit.com and the rep guy told me the max was 120gb.

Well who you going to believe, the guy selling you something or the guy helping you for free? The 120 GB drive is the largest they carry at iFixit, so if you want to buy from them, the rep is correct. Here it is: [gekoppeld product ontbreekt of is uitgeschakeld: IF107-008]

I wonder if they were saying that because early units required the OS in the first 8 GB. +

rj - I don't think Macs have had that since the first G3s. No they just wanted to make a sale of what they had, which is fine, if you make that clear. After all tee shirts cost $

Dont get me wrong, I thank you for your help. I just asked cause I don't really know which to choose for my pb. So you say 320GB 2.5 and it has to be ATA, right? So you I get the 5400RPM or the 7400RPM? Thank you so much for your help!
