Battery drain after battery replacement

So, i ordered an iphone 6 battery from amazon and replaced it properly without any damage.

Everything went perfectly but after a few days the battery started draining VERY fast. It loses about 50% in an hour.

I checked the battery capacity using different tools and they all say that battery is at 100% capacity.

I even did the geekbench test to see the performance and the performance increased to the new iphone 6 level.

I'm currently running ios 11.2.6.

Tried everything from calibration to complete restore. Nothing works!

What to do?

PS: Also, I'm not able to see the battery usage statistics since replacement.

I’m having a similar problem. Replaced iPhone 6 battery. The phone worked very well for a few weeks, now it shuts down after a few hours with the battery displaying more than 50% available.

I also tried calibration and complete software restore.

You either have a defective battery or there is something on the phone that drawing a lot of current. Does the phone get hot when it drains that quickly; if so, where? You could also try to disconnect some of the modular components, such as cameras, sensors etc to see if that stops the rapid drain.

Sometimes, even though we think everything went smoothly, we can still do some damage to the flexes or connectors and that could cause battery drain issues. I would go back and double check your work and inspect the flexes and connectors under magnification.

The tools saying the battery has 100% capacity does not indicate that the battery is perfectly fine?

No, the phone doesn't heat at all.

I actually have a somewhat defective screen since it starts flickering sometimes but goes perfectly normal after a day or two, but this happens very rarely (like once or twice a year) and also this happened before I replaced the battery. Could this be the cause?

Screen flickering and you have an IPhone 6 or 6plus, your problems are just starting.

My advise back up before it's too late. Your iphone iPhone is about to stop working.

I agree, backup your phone it sounds like one or both sides of the backlight circuit that powers the backlight for left and right hand side of the screen are starting to fail.

If that ends up going bad it's going to need board-level repair to fix the backlight circuit.
