Repair information and guides for the iPhone 6 Plus that was released on September 19, 2014. Model: A1522, A1524

Screen won't work after replacement

I replaced my screen on my iPhone 6 plus a while back, and I tried to replace a broken camera on it today. I realized before trying to remove the camera that I had bought the wrong part, but when I reconnected the screen it lit up, but stayed black. I did in fact forget to disconnect the battery when I replaced the screen. I tested it using the old screen, which worked at first, but stopped working after testing it a second time. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

There's no image that shows up with the screen, just the backlight turned on

Just backlight, confirm the phone boots up by plugging it into computer and opening up iTunes or 3utools it should detect it there.

If it does, then the screen has just gone bad, has backlight but no image.

You already tried unplugging battery and reseating the cables right?

The phone does boot up, iTunes recognized it and it will be late when on, but I've unplugged the batteries and reseated the cables both. It is in fact just backlight though, and the screen has worked for months before today, the problem only started after taking the screen out.

Yeah you will need to replace the screen to fix this issue.

You're sure the cables are connected 100%, this can sometimes happen when they're loose

Yes, I've unconnected and reconnected the cables multiple times, both with my old screen and the one I've been using
