Hi my friends friend has a iPhone 7 runing iOS 11.2.5 and it won’t send group messages using SMS. We’ve updated the software and tried messing with settings but nothing will work? @oldturkey03 @avanteguarde Got any suggestions? Any help will be great.

@paperboypaddy which phone carrier are you using?
Go to Settings > Messages and turn on MMS Messaging.
If this is already turned on, ask your phone carrier if they support group messaging.

Verizon is the carrier. And yes MMS is on.
Try this:
a) Settings>Cellular>Enable LTE for Voice and Data
b) turn off iMessage
See if you send group mms with these changes.

Can you tell to which devices it's trying to send to?
Since I do notice iPhones frequently have problems sending messages to Android devices (And it somehow doesn't send messages either to people on the other side of world, EU -> US).

@lenafox Hi, yes she said that it wasn’t sending group messages. I was in the group message and I have a iPhone and she does but the other person has a android. Me and her are both on Verizon. I’m not sure what the other person has though. My iPhone is texting perfectly fine in this group message so it is probably her phone. We’ve updated the software to iOS 11.2.5 and my iPhone is running iOS 11.3 beta.
