Bull@hit. This must be cured, not just smeared all over the edges

he asked how to apply the glue, thats what the video shows so hows it bullshit. he didnt ask how to cure it.

It's not any GLUE, it is SEALANT. Also, there's no application for such a product without curing it. IT SIMPLY WORKS NOT WITHOUT CURING!

You can use whatever similar consistency grease with rather same success. Irrelevent to the product purposed for SEALING chinks so no liquid flow in

These sealants must be cured with heat. Apply 120-140C air from the heat-gun (soldering station or whatever). After it's been cured, excessive residue to be removed mechanically so that it won't introduce any obstacles on the LOCA glue path, flowing down LCD sides. Nothing to say the sealant must not overhang LCD surface.

The strong property of these sealants is that those are easy to remove from protected surface. But only if it's properly cured! ,)

UPD

I bought three of these: the Clear, the White and the Blue. Clear & White eppear to get cured by both heat and UV lamp; the Blue only got cured by heat.

Can I apply the sealant with the mould?

If yes, Can you tell me in detail?

Thanks!

I can't get it what you mean by "with the mould"? Mould is considered for any LCD+LOCA+GLASS bonding. Sure, one can adjust those by eye & hand but it's a kinda exception.

If you applied too much sealant, just remove the excess from the sides so LCD fits the mould. That's it.
