Motherboard need help by find resistance diode. MacBook A1466

Hello,

After liquid damage my backlight was broken. So I had to change the D68B chip.

After the replaced I lost a diode, I need to replace this one but I dont know the resistance. I hope someone has a diagram sheet and could help me out.

Please see below link for the photo of the diode on the motherboard.

@dean88 that is not a Diode. That is a resistor. It is reference designator R7753 which is a 0 Ohm 5% 1/20W resistor in a 0201 package.

Thanks! Yes it is a resistor, are you sure it is 0 ohm?? I need to know the Ohm, if it is 0 then it is no resistor?

It's a fuse link. This is where the wattage becomes important 1/20W

oke great! Thanks! Do you have any idea where I can buy this part? I cannot find it on ebay

Here's one source: Mouser

Consider a 0 Ohm resistor as a link that is easily placed by a pick and place machine during manufacture. It is also easily removable or replaceable for further developments of the logic board if required/desired. A 0 ohm resistor is essentially a conveniently-shaped piece of wire but can be easily placed by the machines during the assembly process of the logic board.

All you have to do is use wire. :)
