I have yet to see a liquid damaged keyboard (that has shorted out and refuses to start) be repaired by cleaning with anything. Either the keyboard or the uppercase will need to be replaced. Here's how:

Agreed to much work with little success! Same with damaged trackpads.

What you need to do is disassemble your device, Retina MacBook 2015 Teardown

and then use isopropyl alcohol to clean it

Always use distilled water first! The Universal Solvent! Use isopropyl alcohol as a dryer.

Isopropyl alcohol is not as good in cleaning water soluble materials. It's only the water within it that is cleaning which can be as little as 15% The lower quality alcohols have more water but also have other junk which is why you want to use pure water.

you can use rice too

Rice Does NOT help. it will dry it, but the corrosion will still be there.

door

open it up and let it dry

Air drying is not really a good idea! Time is your enemy! The more time the liquid sits the more damage it will cause. Even a glass of water is not pure H2O it has minerals and salts which corrode & short electronics. If it's a soda or juice they have sugars and acids which are even worse!

You need to open the system up and mop up things up. You need to use distilled water to wash down the parts to neutralize the salts and acids and clean the sugars off. Then using 85% isopropyl alcohol over the same areas to remove any fats and grease and to help speed up the drying of the distilled water. Even still you'll want to let the parts fully dry before putting them back together and even then some parts just can't be cleaned fully they will need to be replaced.

Unlike tap water distilled water is pure H2O which can clean things up and won't cause damage.
