iPhone 7 messes up if switched off

I have a mainly functioning iPhone 7. It works as normal until it is switched off, then once turned back on, it hangs on the Apple logo, sometimes indefinitely, but sometimes will carry on starting up after around 15 minutes.

To get out of this, I have to plug the phone into my pc and hold down power and volume down, then it works as normal.

I’ve tried restoring via recovery mode and even DFU mode, but nothing has changed.

Is it worth replacing the battery to see if this helps?
