Phone wont turn on after screen replacement and more

My front camera isn't working so I decided to check if its connected properly. Opened up the phone undo the screws put it back together and at the bottom left plate, the screw wasn't going in. So I ignored it and leave the screw out. Put my screen back to the phone and it took me to a gray screen. Turned it off and had 2 vibrates. Tried to turn it back on but no response. Opened up the phone, undo all the screws and now I noticed this bottom left screw holder came out?

Is there anything I can do to get it turn on again? I really hope theres a way. I tried holding home and power button for more than 30 seconds and nothing happening.

Thanks

Well first of all. You should check whether your phone reads to the computer to check if it is on that the logic board is not broken. Otherwise that check the connections. Troubleshoot and plugs and every time you do that unplug the phone and hold the power button and see if there is any response (like the backlight turning on or something). I have an bad lcd on my phone and whenever i open it and i run into the same problems. ALSO THIS IS IMPORTANT make sure there is no debris in the connections because this can mess things up.

Either screen is busted or you may have blown the backlight filter (or more, other components that are part of the backlight circuit).

Backlight filter usually goes bad when you unplug / plug in the screen with the battery still connected.

You should be able to see the apple logo when you shine a flashlight to the screen and turn on the phone.

Hopefully you do not have long screw damage on the bottom right screw hole on the logic board, that could also be related to the issue of the phone having no display.

So what do I do? hold a flashlight on my screen while trying to turn it on to see if it shows the apple logo?

I think I may have damaged the blacklight filter. I saw smoke coming out next to it or around it when unplugging the connectors. Very stupid of me not plugging the battery before doing changes to the screen.

And back of the phone is really hot which seems a good sign I assume?

Yeah, you need to shine a flashlight at the middle of the screen while turning on the phone to see the apple logo. It's kinda hard to see, you will need to shine the flashlight at a certain angle.

Yeah backlight circuit needs diagnosing once you get smoke near the connector. One or more backlight components have been burnt (short circuited).

Try connecting the phone to computer and check if iTunes detects the phone.

Back of the phone getting really hot, I don't think that's a good sign, the backlight circuit seems to be short circuiting.

To get the phone fixed you need to take it to someone that does micro-soldering.

Yeah I do need to get it fixed by someone who does micro-soldering. iTunes not detecting it at all. I completely fried it for sure.

Spoke to someone who does micro-soldering, he said I've done a long screw damage.

Try unplugging the battery and plugging it back in. If it still does not power on try connecting to a charger with a usb cable.

You long screwed it. You put the long screw where the short screw goes and damaged the traces underneath as a result. LSD is on the expensive side of motherboard repair. You can send it to iPad rehab for repair if data is important.
