The tablet blacks out then powers back on saying it needs a password
The tablet will suddenly blackout and you have to wait a few seconds before it turns itself back on. Once it comes on it says it needs a password to decrypt the storage, but a password was never put on it. It cannot be opened and the only half-solution I have found is to factory reset the thing, meaning everything on the tablet is lost.
Any ideas what the password could be?

Does it do this with the charger connected?
If not then backup the tablet, then try the reset.
Would also suspect that if it works ok with the charger connected then perhaps the battery is starting to fail. Power fluctuations can do funny things to electronics.
