I have a nextbook tablet and it has an activation code and I can't get it from anyone. I have been on hold for two hours with customer service.
I bought a next book tablet online for my son for christmas when it powers on it says it needs an activation code I don't have one the person I got it from wont return my calls

You would need to include more details. Did you forget your password? Also if you've been on with customer support for 2 hrs they will probably be speaking to you soon. So as much as I hate waiting, you probably need to wait on customer support because the same question as yours got deleted due to general issues the question caused.
Not so sure about this, but I heard of a website called www.getmycode.com or something like that. I have not visited it myself, so Just a warning.

@captainsnowball, getyourcode is a legitimate site, but I think its only for RCA tablets, even though both Nextbook and RCA use the same protection.
websites using that format make me feel like their insecure
Its got a ReCaptcha and a live chat. I doubt theives would go through that much trouble. Also the amount of personal info involved in setting up a ReCaptcha definitely means its legit.

As an anti-theft measure, RCA and Nextbook tablets sold off the shelf at places like Walmart are locked with an activation code. This activation code is printed on the sales receipt. If you have the DiSA or Serial number, you can go to https://www.getyourcode.com and try to get an activation code from this legitimate site. Otherwise, return the tablet to wherever you purchased it from and explain your situation.

@bellllaa - Sorry we really can help you Activation Codes & Passwords they are beyond our ability to answer.
Sounds like you are on the right path talking to the customer service of the tablet. Hang in there! If you can locate the person who sold you the tablet they should also be able to offer the needed code/s if not get your money back.
